Another way that is similar to using the free blogging platform is use your friend's domain name and add in a sub-domain of your niche, making it a separate website under the same domain name. This is what it will look like for your website domain name ( www.FriendDomain.com /YourNiche or www.YourNiche.FriendDomain.com ), although the domain name is longer, it will still work fine for you to start promoting your website or blog. If your niche is popular and there are a lot of searches to your website, the search engines will be able to differentiate the two different websites. The bad thing about using this, is that you are not able to sell it away for profit as it is not own by you.

The second way is to find a free hosting company for you to host your website, they are limited to the functions of hosting a website, but just enough to make sure your website is hosted. The main reason why the hosting company lets you use their free hosting, is that once you have a successful website making money, you might consider upgrading using their hosting services. You are more than likely to use their service as you are lazy to transfer all the work to a new hosting. Another bad thing is that, the hosting company might put advertising on your website, driving away your targeted traffic away.

The last and which I think is the easiest way is to use your friend's hosting for your website. You can always find out from your close friends who have websites, and ask them to host your website for you. I do have my first blog hosted on my friend's hosting, and she was very kind to help me host as well. Here you might have to invest in a domain name for your website, as your friend might not want to create a sub-domain for you, it will cost you around less than USD $10 a year for a domain. The one very bad thing is that if your friend is the type that spam or doing adult site, major search engines like Google will ban you from listing in their search. This will really spell trouble for you as Google has 70% of the internet search last year. Or when your website becomes so popular, and your friend wants to have a share in the pie, you might be in for a long term problem.

Well, these are my experience for using the free things on the Internet, it comes with risk and unforeseen circumstances coming your way. So my advice to you looking for a free hosting or platform for your website, try it out first and not putting in too much of your time into it, only when you see result coming in (that means making money), then proceed to owning a hosting and website. You will thank me for this advice.

Cutting cost or not using cost aren't the best way to go about in the internet marketing world. The best way is to make your own website using a quality website with unique design, buy a domain name and hosting for your usage, as they are extremely cheap nowadays, and you can sell your website in the future for profit.
