Let's accept, no one wants to manually type HTML code to create a website, thanks to tons of HTML editors out there where you can simply type the content of your website, add pictures and your website is ready to be deployed.

I have been using Microsoft Office Frontpage for a while and I think that it is the easiest HTML editor to create any basic website. Simply run the application and select 'NEW' >> 'SITE' option from the navigation menu. The application allows you to select a design for your site from hundreds of pre-designed website templates, and you can select the one which suits you the most. You can actually create your own template but I would not recommend unless you have a prior experience of making websites.

You can simply type the contents of the website on the design tab, add images and change fonts. Fonts, colors and others things can simply be changed by highlighting the text, right click on the mouse and then selecting the "Font". You can perform additional styling by pressing the "Style" option.

Keep adding additional pages to your website and connect them with a navigation bar. Navigation bar section should be clearly marked on your template, otherwise you can create your own. It is best to keep the navigation bar on top or on the left hand side. Use the 'Design' mode to do all this. Use the Preview tab to check how your web page will really look like once it's hosted. Go back and forth to make appropriate changes. Once you get familiar will all the navigation, there is a lot of fun involved in the whole process.

To publish your site, simply click on the file name and select "publish". You can enter the FTP information and tell the application to save it, this way you will not be asked every time. You can also publish the whole site. I have published some of my pages on http://www.writearticles.org
