Writing and Public Speaking
Anyone, within reason, can write. It is not rocket science. Nor is it that requires too much thought or even preparation, although the letter often helps. Procrastination leads to inactivity and is a negative attribute. You need to get on and do things now. Just get on and do it.
We are not talking novels here. Nor even a short story. Just a simple article like this one even. There is nothing special in writing articles yes, it requires some common sense and yes, it requires a bit of time and effort. But do it the once then you will be doing it again and again. Have a look around ezinearticles for instance. There are all sorts of writers writing about all sorts of subjects. It is gratifying to see new writers every day those with just one or two articles under their belt.
It is a good feeling to see your work in print. Dont worry too much about whether you have anything important to say. People will move on to the next article if they do not like or agree with your message. Of course, articles should be of a certain standard of niceness no swearing or profanities and you should keep to the established terms of reference and guidelines for submission of anywhere that you submit your work. But, most of us are sensible and rational.
Writing starts in your brain, not your hand. Your pen or pencil (also known as your keyboard) is just and extension of thought. Begin writing and your thoughts will flow and the more you do the easier it gets! Believe me.
