Raise The Calibre Of Your Article Writing
By:Julie Atkins

Article writing has to be one of the most effective ways of driving traffic to your website. Writing powerful articles is one of the first steps to success. However, its important that your article is both well written and informative.

Your title, article body and conclusion should each be interesting, should flow well and each should draw the reader in. The title can make or break a readers interest and should include your keyword(s). Try and start your title with a keyword if possible.

The main body of your article should follow through on your promise in the title. It should be informative and capable of holding the readers interest. Make sure you answer the problem or address the issues raised in your title.

Be aware of your keyword density try to aim for around 2%- 3% . This is roughly using the keyword between 2-3 times per 100 words.

One of the basic rules of article writing which youll hear time and again is to write about what you know. This could include subjects of personal interest, hobbies or work-related. Writing about familiar subjects allows you to add personal experiences to your content, helping to keep it fresh. Make sure you write with passion, whatever subject you choose to concentrate on. Get fired up about your subject, inject enthusiasm into your writing. By doing this one step, you can help make the difference between writing success or failure. Seasoned readers can tell immediately if a writer is enthusiastic about their subject and it shows on the written page.

Before putting pen to paper, compile a list of topics which youd like to write about. Doing this will not only help you organize a working plan but also allows you to work faster and smarter.

Of course, its not always possible to write exclusively about what you know. So, you research. Well-researched content matter can be re-written in your own style. As to where to start, first stop is usually the internet, where you can find information on everything you could possibly want. Libraries offer hands-on research facilities . If you are writing about a specialized subject or hobby, you may be lucky enough to know someone with little-known knowledge or personal experience who you can interview or chat to informally.

You should aim to raise the calibre of your writing with every submission. The more you write, the more proficient youll become. Writing regular articles of high quality content helps drive traffic to your site and this in turn will build your reputation as a writer who delivers snappy informative content which will then secure you a loyal following.
