Article writing to me is the greatest way of gaining extra traffic to your website/blog or offer. For driving traffic to my business this would have to be one of my favourites. When you write a good number of articles this in turn will provide you with large numbers of targeted traffic and in turn will also provide you with added backlinks to your website/blog. By just writing one article per day and submitting this article to article directories plus your own websites this will bring you a significant amount of traffic to your website/blog.

This could seem to be too much work but really it is not that difficult. Using the correct methods that we have here will make this achievable.

If you are finding it hard to come up with what you could write about then go to any search engine and look around to see what topics that relate to your topic. Choose some forums in your niche and look to see what questions are being asked then find the answers for those questions and create an article of solid content about it in your own words. These articles you write will have your own twist to them giving you your unique written content. This should take you no more than 15-20 minutes to create an article this way. Writing articles from the notes that you have taken or writing your own version of a topic is the key to article writing.

You will be able to find many articles for ideas by searching with your favourite search engine. If you are promoting a product make sure you put you link in the resource box only, nowhere else in the article. This link can be an affiliate link or your own domain as an anchor text pointing to your own website, blog, or landing page. Place this article on your own site before submitting it to article directories. Once these articles are distributed you should eventually start seeing an increase of traffic to your sites.

You will not need too many articles out in the field to see this happening. If you ever read that you should not submit the same article to article directories and your own website because it is duplicate content then don't believe it as that is not what duplicate content really means. Basically duplicate content is when you have the same content on different pages of your own site.

Once you have completed your article writing, submit these articles to article directories. Other things you can do with articles is to record yourself reading an article (your own) this can be used for podcasts. Also create a power point of some related articles, turning these into videos, then uploading these videos to video sharing sites.
