Writing and Public Speaking

Top tips on better writing
By:mike <newmotre@yahoo.com>

Here are three useful tips to get your writing up to speed.

1)Read it out loud
We use different parts of our brain when we are writing, speaking or reading. So reading out loud will switch you out of one mode into the combination of the other two which means your brain will analyse the text in a slightly different way, meaning you will be able to pick up mistakes.

2)Re-read it
Go away and leave your writing for an hour or two, or even better a day or two then go back and read it again. The break will mean that you are fresh and able to spot mistakes.

3)Get a friend to read it
Your friend is a definite pair of fresh eyes.
