I still remember, few years back I wanted to write articles which make maximum impact and draw maximum audience. I started searching on the internet about the topics which are most searched on the internet, and I came up with these

1. Travel
2. Medicine
3. Finance
4. Health

So, I started writing articles on Travel and Finance, even though they were not my strongest areas of knowledge. I searched on the internet, went to the library and came up with 6-7 articles. Then I started my own blog and http://www.saching.com to submit articles. What I realized that those articles did moderately well, but much less than I expected.

Do you know why ?

It's all about the old supply and demand rule, like me most others like to write articles on topics which already have a ton of information, written by people who are expert author and therefore I had no chance of getting anywhere.

Next I started to write about technical articles which was my strongest area. Since then I have been doing very well, I never run out of ideas and writing articles about the topic you love is always easy. Even though there if significant competition in tech. sector as well, I am able to do well just because it is something I like and not that I force myself into.

Follow your heart and your interest, submit articles only on topics that you feel passionate about and you will succeed.
