General and examination courses:
Our general language group courses are designed for those who want to learn a new language or develop their present knowledge for private, educational or professional reasons. We provide courses at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced. In addition to general language training we offer a University Foundation Programme for students applying to University in an English speaking country, an International School Year Programme and a Work and Study Programme. For those who would like to supplement their group sessions with individual tuition we offer Plus Courses, flexibly arranged and tailored to your needs.

LSI Examination Preparation Courses offer a thorough study of all aspects of the language, together with focused preparation for the examination. Our staff members and teachers will be happy to advise you which examination is most suitable for you, and have the knowledge and experience to help you succeed.

LSI Vancouver is ideally located in the heart of the downtown district. The city's main attractions, such as shopping malls, galleries and theatres, are within easy walking distance, as are bus, Seabus and Skytrain services ( see map of school location ). The school is on the first floor of a modern office tower. We offer comfortable classrooms, a computer lab with Internet access, a wide variety of self-study materials, and a common room for student use.Our social calendar is full of excitement, including cultural activities (Vancouver Art Gallery and the UBC Museum of Anthropology), visits to parks (Lighthouse Park, Lynn Canyon, Queen Elizabeth Park), professional sports (NHL Canucks and CFL Lions), and outings to pubs, restaurants, or picnic areas! Excursions to the capital city of Victoria or the mountain resort of Whistler are arranged every month. Summer activities include cycling, river rafting and hiking. Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding and ice-skating.

LSI Toronto is situated in the heart of Rosedale, a beautiful residential neighbourhood, close to the subway station, and with restaurants and parks just across the street. The major shopping and entertainment area of Yorkville is only a few minutes' walk away ( see map of school location). The school is on the second and third floors of a unique modern building with an open air courtyard. There is a common room, where students can relax and eat lunch, equipped with microwave, fridge, and vending machines, and a computer room with free internet access. Our activities programme includes summertime picnics, wintertime skating parties, and year-round excursions to Niagara Falls. Our students will experience the variety of sights, sounds and tastes which make Toronto such a wonderful place to visit.

LSI has many language schools across the world. You can learn English in one of our schools in England, Canada, the USA, Malta, New Zealand or Australia. We also have language centres in France, Germany and Switzerland. LSI also works with partner language schools in Spain, Italy, Russia, Mexico and Costa Rica.All are well located, in the centre of attractive cities, close to transport links, and amenities.

The language centres are fully equipped with up-to-date materials and resources in comfortable surroundings. Computer facilities, with free internet access are provided for students’ use.
