English schools in the USA and Canada

Texas - Austin
School:Austin English Academy

Austin English Academy (AEA), established in September 1992, is a private ESL school located near the University of Texas at Austin. As a member of the Aston Educational Group, which has more than 35 schools worldwide, AEA has developed teaching methods and curriculum that will bring you across boundaries of culture and country into an ideal learning environment. At AEA, we make sure that you are surrounded by English inside and outside of the classroom.

AEA's focus is on you as an individual, and with classes that never exceed 8 students, you are never lost in the crowd. While other schools only allow you to enroll at the beginning of a term, our enrollment is "open" so you are free to start classes at any time. Placement testing is free and ensures that students of similar language ability are grouped together.

Our highly qualified teachers are native speakers with university degrees and multicultural experience, and our entire staff's commitment to you goes beyond the classroom. School-sponsored outings, academic advising, and supportive friendships are what help make AEA a special place.

Overview of What AEA Offers:

Intensive English Program
AEA's full-time IEP provides students with 18 hours per week of language instruction. We also offer you the option of attending classes part-time (local students only). Please contact us for class availability and scheduling if you are interested in part-time study. Levels of study range from beginner to advanced. To find out more information, please click below.

CAP (Conditional Acceptance to Study in US Colleges)
The United States is the top destination for many students aspiring for an overseas education because American higher education is recognized as the world's best. A total of 107,000 Asian students went overseas to pursue higher education in 2004, and more than 60,000 went to the U.S.

Evening Classes
Because our Intensive English classes are only offered in the morning, many people can’t attend because of conflicts with work or school. For a reduced price, AEA offers evening classes every month. These classes are more flexible and the teacher works with the entire class to establish goals and set the topics covered. Levels of study range from beginner to advanced.

TOEFL
A score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required for most college and university admissions in the USA. While the primary focus of our class is on test-taking strategies, raising your English ability in general is fundamental to our method of teaching. Students can choose to take our TOEFL class alone or in conjunction with AEA's strong IEP.

Private Tutoring
For students who desire more flexibility and would like to design their own program. Whether you're looking for a specific type of English instruction or would just like individual attention, tutoring may be right for you.

Groups and Businesses
AEA offers affordable group rates for companies and organizations. Our teachers can help inspire greater confidence and command of English in your employees.
