City College of San Francisco welcomes International Students from throughout the world. Our International Student Programs encompass the Academic and Intensive English Programs. There are currently over 1200 students from 90 countries studying at our various campuses. Their presence complements a broad mosaic of multi-ethnic students from San Francisco.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service has authorized City College of San Francisco under federal regulations to enroll qualified non-immigrant students. Each semester the College admits international students without reference to a quota. City College of San Francisco is fully accredited by WASC, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The intensive English program is also accredited by AAIEP, the American Association of Intensive English Programs.

The mission of the International Student Programs is to:
-Support and assist all international students in successfully achieving their educational goals
-Provide seamless coordinated service to current and prospective students in a friendly, supportive and professional manner
-Promote international/global awareness and intercultural understanding through development and implementation of programs/events that integrate international students into the CCSF community
