The American Culture and Language Program (ACLP) is designed for international students, professionals or those seeking an intensive English experience, as well as an introduction to American culture. ACLP provides a year-round intensive English language program for students preparing to enter an American college or university or for professionals who wish to improve their English. Additionally, short-term programs for individuals, and specially-designed intensive short-term programs for groups are available. Many ACLP students matriculate to California State University, San Bernardino to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees.

There are six level of instruction, including graduate school preparation course.

Conditional Admission to CSUSB
"Conditional Acceptance" is available to international students who meet all university entrance requirements except for the minimum English scores. CSUSB requires the following English scores for admission: undergraduates--TOEFL 500 (173 computer-based, 61 Internet-based) or IELTS 6.5; graduates--TOEFL 550 (213 computer-based, 79/80 Internet-based) or IELTS 7.0

We also offer Summer Study program, which is designed for international students, professionals or those seeking to enhance their English language experience focusing on conversation and communication skills with a substantial cultural component. Beginner, intermediate and advance levels of instruction are available. Experience firsthand such icons of American culture as Hollywood and Universal Studios, San Diego Zoo and Santa Monica beach, the Getty Center and Palm Springs.

You can enhance your experience by staying with American families through our Homestay program or experience American university life by staying at the university residence.
