How to Be a Better Coach or Teacher - Tips From the Students Perspective
By:HyunSoung Kim

Coaching or teaching can be a really hard thing but in the same time it can be simple. There are fast tips which can help in any every situation, it is same in this case. If you know how the other person thinks it can be very beneficial. Here are some tips which can show the advantages and disadvantages of your teaching skills.

Tip 1

Make the best first impression possible. The first impression is the most important one because it will be harder to change the picture later. The first minutes are the crucial ones. If you want to have fun and in the same time make them work hard, you must do it same. In every thing there must be a balance which makes it perfect. Be a coach who likes to joke and in same time a coach who can make others do their work nicely.

Tip 2

Get more close with them. Talk with the students, get to know their problems and try to help them. Befriend them, don't be a strict mechanical robot. By getting to know them better, it will also be much easier to teach because the connection is bigger.

Tip 3

Be positive. Do not talk bad to the students and how they will do bad in the exams. Give them courage and they will do better. By making them scary can make them do the work, but everybody knows that somebody will do it better if he enjoys and does it for himself.

Tip 4

Know perfectly what you teach. This is simple. If the students see that the coach or the teacher does not know what he is doing they will immediately get a negative picture.

The best teacher is the one who is the closest with the students, always stay positive and be the energy for their dreams.

"Give some power to the students, and the student will give power to the teacher."
