I do agree with you Sam in some sense but let us not generalize because some of the native speakers here are really qualified and experienced. I met some native speakers who are really that proud and boastful but utters nonsense and do not even know what figurative speech is and cannot differentiate simile from metaphor and looks at you with mouth agape when you ask them to explain phonetics or what branch of the english language does it fall unto.
For those mentioned above, it is a pity that you are not bothered by your conscience fooling the chinese populace.

Sam, maybe when you meet some of these insensitive native speakers, you can advice them to take time to have a soul searching and ask them if they are happy enjoying the fruit of their deceitful labor.
