Alcanta is a Canadian brand, initiated in Canada, nourished and grown in the soil of China.
Alcanta College of Foreign Languages, which is registered with Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of
Education, has based her development on a Canadian joint venture founded in 1997. The college
specializes in providing education and training programs to the general public and corporations and is well-known locally for its quality English and business programs and for its responsible,
professional and committed Western and Chinese faculty. More than 30,000 students have graduated from the college since 1997, and Alcanta has now become one of the most sought-after private colleges.

1997 Guangzhou Alcanta International Business Education Centre was set up
1999 Guangzhou Alcanta International Business Education Centre was renamed Guangzhou Lianhe (Alcanta) International Business Education Centre
2002 The centre was upgraded to Alcanta College of Foreign Languages
2005 Alcanta Vocational School of Foreign Languages was established

Facilities
▲ Teaching facilities include 38 air-conditioned standard classrooms, 2 computer rooms, 6
language labs, 3 multi-media classrooms and 3 lecture halls, and 1 library;
▲ Accommodation is provided for more than 1200 students, with facilities ranging from 2 canteens to 207 standard students' dormitories with central air-conditioning, central hot water system, private bathrooms, and direct 200 telephone system.
▲ Sporting facilities include a all-weather sports ground, 4 basketball courts, 2 badminton courts, 1 tennis court, 1 indoor swimming pool, and 1 keep-fit centre.
