Introduction

Anhui University of Finance and Economics (AUFE) was founded in 1959. It is a multidisciplinary institution with seven disciplines ranging from economics, management, law, science, engineering to literature and history, of which economics, statistics, accounting and international trade are key disciplines.

AUFE has 4 key research bases at provincial and ministerial level, 13 research institutes, 14 schools, 39 undergraduate programs and 30 master programs. It holds 15000 undergraduates, and 800 graduates.

AUFE has 1420 faculties with 450 professors. It has held many national-wide economic and professional seminars. AUFE has close relationships with the many universities in such countries like Japan, America, Italy, Germany, Britain, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Romania, Hungary, and etc.

AUFE has a collection of 1.74 million books, 0.52 million e-books and over 1700 periodicals in Chinese or foreign languages. AUFE has perfect teaching and sports facilities such as computer centers, modern education technology centers, laboratories, language labs, stadium, and swimming pool.

AUFE has undertaken 543 items of research projects since 2004, of which 21 items were key projects of the Ministry of Education and many others from state governments. AUFE has published more than 4000 academic articles, 79 research monographs, and got 27 awards for teaching and research achievements from the state. Its academic journal Finance and Trade Research is welcomed at home and abroad.
