I am traveling to Newquay, England in June for surfing/holiday and want to stay after my vacation...I am an American ESL teacher with all the credentials and years of experience. I currently teach bilingual second grade, and I'd really like to teach in England for while. I have obtained a summer job as a TESOL Teacher, but my employer is not an ACCREDITED sponsor, and therefor cannot obtain a work permit FOR me - hence no visa can be obtained from my end. I'm well qualified, but don't know what to do - push for a visa, or travel abroad and try to get a visa and a bar job whilst there...? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as I am out of options at this point.
