Paris is the capital of France and it the largest city in that country. It is located in northern France on the river Seine. It is one of the most visited tourist spots in the world, with more than 30 million foreign visitors visiting each year.

Paris is a beautiful and romantic city with very jolly and refreshing things to see and do. There are many interesting places worth visiting. There are wonderful restaurants and food. Elegant restaurants and casual sidewalk cafes lie throughout the city.

Charles de Gaulle International Airport:-The main airport in Paris is called Charles de Gaulle International Airport. It is located in the north east part of the city.It is one of the major airports of Europe.

TGV:- These are the world famous high speed trains. These are a registered trademarrk of SNCF. The record for the fastest wheeled trains is held by these only.They have achived 574.8 km/h on 3rd April 2007. The record for world's highest average speed for regular passenger service is also held by TGV.

Eiffel Tower:- The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France was built in January 26, 1882 by Gustave Eiffel. Out of the 700 proposals submitted in a design competition, Gustave Eiffel's was chosen. He was helped in the design by engineers Maurice Koechlin, Emile Nouguier, and architect Stephen Sauvestre. With the help of 300 steel workers, it took around two years to construct it. It took 18,038 parts, 3.000 workshop drawings, 7000 engineering plans and 2,500,000 rivets to raise the structure of the Eiffel tower whose weight is 7,300 tons and measures 1,050 feet high. The total cost of building and construction was estimated as $1.5 million.

Champs-Élysées:- It is a seventeenth century garden, turned into an avenue. It connects the Concorde and Arc de Triomphe.It is one of the many tourist spots and a major shopping location of Paris. It is also called as "the most beautiful avenue in the world".

Arc de Triomphe:-The Arc de Triomphe is a famous monument in Paris and a major tourist location. The triumphal arch honors those who fought for France, particularly during the Napoleonic Wars. On the inside and the top of the arc there are all of the names of generals and wars fought. Underneath is the tomb of the unknown soldier from World War I.

The Louvre:-The Louvre is one of the finest museums in the world of art, art-history, and culture. It is a real big place, so chill and just take a long time to roam around. One of the major tourist spots in Paris. The list of tourist attractions in Paris would be incomplete without this location.

Notre Dame Cathedral:-Notre Dame Cathedral, is a must see Cathedral in Paris for tourists.

Sainte Chapelle:-Sainte Chapelle is more beautiful as compared to the famous, Notre Dame. It is a small chapel, but attracts many more tourists. It is said that sunlight plays a vital role in increasing its beauty.
