During the whole year Rome offers a calendar rich on events and happenings not to be missed. Hereby we suggest you the main artistic, music and sport events organized in the city from January to December.

Marathon of Rome -
The Marathon of Rome takes place in March along the suggestive streets of the Eternal City. The peculiarity of these event is the organization of the Stracittadina, a non-competitive 4 km run to which everyone can take part, including children and families.

Expo Tevere -
Happening hosted every year between June and July along the Tevere river banks. The TevereExpo is an Italian artisanal market where roman and regional gastronomic specialties can be bought at convenient prices.

Estate Romana -
During the month of July and August a lot of open air events and happenings are hosted in Rome: Concerts, theatre plays, cabaret shows are organized along the Tevere banks and in the city parks.

White Night -
The white night is a recent event of the Rome happenings calendar. During this long night it is possible to go to the theatre, cinema, visit museums and enter in the stores to make shopping. All around Rome free concerts and shows are hosted until late night.

Rome Europe Festival -
It is the most prestigious art and music festival of Rome. Every year, from September to December, different kind of music concerts is proposed at the Auditorium and in the main theatres and squares of Rome.

Feast of the Immaculate Virgin -
On occasion of the religious feast of Virgin Mary Immaculate Conception, the Pope celebrates a religious function at the Spanish Steps and a group of Firemen climb up on a ladder to put a crown on the Virgin Mary statue.

Feast of Epifany -
During the Epifany days a fair is celebrated in Piazza Navona. For this occasion families with their children buy Christmas objects and cakes in numerous stalls.
