English schools in Europe
United Kingdom - Ingatestone (Essex)
School:Anglo European School
Anglo European School is a self-governing state school for boys and girls of all abilities, with 1304 students aged 11 to 19. It was the first state school in Britain to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma and the first to become a Language College.
International Baccalaureate: The philosophy of the IB underpins the schools ethos. Whilst not all students follow the IB Diploma course in the sixth form, the commitment of the programme to internationalism and to making the world a better place is central to the school’s mission.
