A vacation to Amristar, India is one that you will not soon forget, as there are many things to do and see that are sure to keep the family happy during the entire vacation.

The Golden Temple is one attraction that has everyone standing in awe at its grandeur and beauty. The temple was covered with 165 kg of gold by the Great Sikh ruler Maharaja Ranjit Singh with one door on each side of the temple, which is a symbol of the spirit of tolerance, and acceptance that is characterized by the Sikh faith. The temple with its marble walkways, encircled by the pool Amrit Sarovar, and its beauty is a must see while visiting Amristar.

A lovely garden in Amristar is the Ram Bagh. This magnificent garden is home to the summer Palace of Maharana Ranjit Singh in the center of all of the beauty of the garden. A stroll through the park would be great way to let the kids run and play for a few minutes while you take in the peace and quiet of this beautiful garden.

Amritsar is a wonderful Indian city to enjoy strolling through the streets. As you view all the history and encounter the beauty of the countryside, you will truly be glad you choose this city to visit.
