Do you know how degrees are verified through immigration? I have the original and transcripts. I also have the schools address and phone number. I'm asking because sometimes I run across ads that need people in a hurry and even employers here in the U.S. have told me that my university needs to answer more quickly than in a 6-8 week turn around time. Weird ways of doing business I guess (the school). Please advise if you have any idea on this matter. I'm really just wondering what the time frame is for the government of Japan and the time frame of the school employer takes to verify someones credentials, and how if you know that also. If I knew how, I could maybe speed up the process at my university.
