Travel, Teach, Live in Korea

Bringing Your Significant Other?

I have a question for anyone who has been able to bring their significant other to Korea. Did they have to exit/enter the country every 90 days or has anyone had luck talking to immigration to allow them to stay? I am coming to Korea in August to teach and my fiance is coming to live with me. We are both Americans and I understand he can stay for 90 days at a time. I was wondering if there is any way he can just stay with me for the year by getting some sort of extension at immigration. Thanks in advance!
