The Columbus School is located in the Andean mountains outside Medellín. Surrounded by beautiful, green landscape and lush vegetation. It's an ideal setting for learning.

Our educational methodology is based on a bilingual program with a strong academic and college preparatory orientation. We have a fourteen year program organized into three schools to provide developmentally appropriate experiences with close and personal guidance.

The Columbus School has a new, 45 acre campus at 2.400 meters above sea level and is located in a place known as "El Alto de Las Palmas", at a twenty-minute drive from Medellin. Our campus is surrounded by beautiful, green mountains, and lush vegetation, an ideal setting for learning.

The school has been planned according to the educational needs for the 21st century, offering our children the opportunity to live harmoniously with nature, while at the same time receiving the benefits of state-of-the-art technology.

The campus contains three (3) schools: Elementary, Middle and High Schools, all immersed in Andean majesty, year round spring weather, and the warmth of the most wonderful people.

Educational facilities include three (3) Gymnasiums, two (2) soccer fields, a track, a softball field, separate fields and hard surface courts for each of the lower schools; six (6) science and (4) computer state-of-the art labs, four (4) music and art rooms, a 400 seat outdoor theater, two libraries, a Curriculum and Staff-Development Center, Staff Lounges, Work Areas and over 70 spacious classrooms.
