Teachers Law of the People's Republic of China

I taught in China for three years (2004-2007) and experienced many times breeches in my contract and that of other foreign teachers and we all would say "that this would never happen in our country"! Shortly after returning to Canada in the winter of 2008 I came across an article in one of the Edmonton news papers that over 50% of foreign workers in Canada have been taken advantage of by their Canadian employers.

Sadly no matter what country you are living there are people who will take advantage of others and people must be aware of this when they go to other countries to work and live. It is monetary greed and the corruption power that these employers/managers have over their employees that ruins these jobs-experiences that people take, to either better their lives or to experience culture in a foreign country.

Everyone must be prepared for these power hungry people to expose their nasty morals when you are in any work place in any country in the world.

Take care all.
