The Understated Simplicity Of Success
By:Brian Xavier

Being successful is frequently seen as accomplishing a goal or simply getting to a certain stage in life, a position in a social environment or a corporate structure. This kind of view, of which success is a point, is usually inaccurate, in reality, success is the power to carry on, regardless of resistance, and by resistance I mean both inner or even exterior resistance, which is, anything that forces you back or slows down your accomplishment, be it a feeling, emotion, or maybe an outside factor like a relative or a colleague.

This viewpoint of success as being a process is far more credible than the success-as-a-stage view. The things I am here to share with you is that, when you start seeing matters in these terms, once you begin mastering this process, and by mastering I mean controlling the process, not only will you be successful, but you will at the same time develop trust in your own ability to perform the same process all the time in different situations, and still achieve success. With that in mind, why don't we free ourselves from the conventional meaning of success being a point and look into what is actually required to be successful in life.

You need to be always aware of your goals: Oftentimes we forget what our own goals are, and by forget I do not imply that you completely forget your goals, but there are actually moments when details are likely to dominate our brain space to the extent that we no longer are actively pursuing our originally desired goals, we have a limited attention span, our brains are able to only dedicate itself to one principal item at a time, when that happens we briefly lose sight of other considerations within our minds. You need to be alert to this, you need to learn the ability to notice the very second when you start drifting away to other areas in life, areas that use up your brain space and are generally not really helping you in reaching your goals.

Be aware of the things which are repeatedly standing in the way of your success: You need to take notice anytime something begins getting in the way of your success, this really is often a subtle emotion, like anxiety or laziness, it is not always easy to notice. Learn to stand back and watch how these inner thoughts impact you in both short-term and long-term, how they influence your capacity to make the suitable decisions that would help you attain your intended goals.

Build a positive mind-set: Acquiring a positive attitude means removing all sentiments of hate, envy and cynicism and changing them with love, courage and hope. Very often, we have set our goals in the first place since we are upset about some thing, and we want to change it, this feeling of being annoyed is helpful to some degree, it will provide us the motive to keep going any time we're feeling down, but it can also very quickly transform into a harmful feeling when we're not really careful, when this happens we find ourselves trapped in a cycle, we're upset that we are unable to reach our goals, and we cannot reach our goals due to the fact that we are upset. Never let yourself fall into this kind of infinite vicious circle of failure. Learn how to be continually perceptive of this effect, whenever it takes place, calmly remind yourself that this sensation is not helping you, it will also help to whisper it calmly to yourself: "This emotion is not helping me; I'll not permit this harmful emotion to impact me"

Realize that your friends' wishes are often good: Many people dread change. Once you begin making an enthusiastic, visible effort, these people will begin noticing that you are changing. Frequently, this makes them worry that you simply will not stay the same person they've got used to know and like. Remember that these are not necessarily against your success, they're simply worrying. You have to be aware of this and make sure they know that you've set goals for yourself and that it wouldn't influence your current relationship with them by any means. In this way, you turn them into allies, assisting you in the act of reaching your goals, instead of obstacles.

Be aware that the key to success is practice: We have stated this before, but I will say it once again here, success is a process, every time you successfully execute this process you become better at being successful, yes, it's difficult in the beginning, but once you learn to follow the simple steps I've discussed in this post, it gets as painless as everything else you do in life.

Any time I feel demotivated or I'm seeking out encouragement, I like to read quotations and sayings of famous people on success and life. Success is contagious, when you read others speaking about their success, you cannot help but be positively affected by their energy and passion. Here are some nice success words http://www.mysuccessquotes.net/ that I found online that you could check.
