I can't tell you anything specific about the school but the locations they are in (Binjiang & xiaoshan) aren't in the downtown area of hangzhou. I worked in hangzhou before and remember binjiang being a bit of a ghost town. There was a lot of new developments out there but not many people had actually made the move to live there. All very clean and ordered but a little sterile. This was several years ago so the situation might have changed. Xiaoshan is then further out again and with the terrible crosstown traffic that hangzhou experiences it'd take at least an hour to get to the centre of hangzhou and see sights like west lake.
