I want to write a post to explain why you should not accept a job at this school.

The school is currently run by a Principle who is more interested in pushing her own agenda and making profit than the pedagogical welfare of the students. There is zero support for those students who find it difficult and if the students don't make progress the failure is the teachers problem. Staff are consistently reminded that their results show teaching quality. Especially considered the students sit unstandardized tests and staff are 'encouraged' to give bonus points to allow all students to pass. When students inevitably cheat, staff are merely asked to give the student another shot at the same test. This happens at all levels within the school therefore students don't try.

Staff are not supported and healthcare is not provided. Therefore if you are ill you will lose pay + have to pay for your medical bills. Great! There is very little standardization of pay. You can find teachers with 1-3 years experience being paid more or the same as teachers with 8+ years of experience. You can also find unqualified teachers being paid more than qualified teachers... A total mess.

The students are not provided up to date resources and then they are deeply ineffective. Students in Primary, Junior and Secondary are provided texts that they cannot access. This doesn't matter so much as students will progress through to the next year without ever having to pass. There are students who can barely speak a sentence in english but they still move from grade to grade. The biggest insult is when students are given photocopies of textbooks (illegal) rather than the school providing copies. Workbooks must be written in pencil so they can be erased and re-used the next year.

Overall not an effective school, students and parents are being significantly let down.
