This company, these students, these managers, this land... the pits!

ADVETI is without a shadow of a doubt the worst career mistake you could ever make!

The students are lazy, arrogant ingrates with no regard or respect for anything or anyone.

The administration are beyond useless and give lazy and incompetent whole new meanings!

They never deliver on what is promised to the teaching staff, they lie about everything from deliver times of textbooks, to bonuses, to visa and medical cards. The country itself is built by half-assed Indian workers who are treated lower than dirt.

The expat communities from the UK, US, Canada and God knows how many other nationalities all live in insulated little pockets all despising the local Emiraties and each other in varying amounts. The worst expat here are the Irish. All of whom are as white as sheets of paper and as miserable as sin!

The housing is ridiculously over priced and of substandard quality to the extent that practically everyday there is a new problem to contend with. The AC stops working, the water goes off, the house has dry rot or some nasty insect infestation.

The food is all imported and tasteless. The roads are a nightmare! The locals are totally reckless behind the wheel and simply do not care who they crash into or who they kill. The heat in the summer is on par to a fan assisted oven! It gets to 50 degrees C in the summer and the entire country comes to a halt! In the winter it is as humid as a green house and when it rains totally floods due to no drainage. The landscape is barren and empty! There is NO natural foliage what so ever! The land is parched of all moister so everything is covered in dust and sand!

And finally, the local people are the most arrogant, rude, racist, ill mannered, ill-informed, two faced, lying, scheming peasants you could ever meet!

In short, do not come here.
