I recently saw a post for someone asking about a school I worked at this spring. The school is 云南师大附中美华国际高中。 They use many names, AIA, AEUA, Meihua, and who knows what new name they will try this year. www.aiakm.com . This school should be avoided by all teachers! I spoke with a few teachers who were still working there when I started and they said the school used to be ok, but now they haven't paid teachers for months. They keep hiring new teachers and promise to pay. When the teachers don't get paid, they quit. Then the school try to hire new teachers. I have no problem with the teachers, I think that they are victims. Also, the employees are the same.

The problem is the 3 guys who are running the scam ... David, Sail, and Howlven. The school was ok for a couple of years, and probably genuine. Now bad business practices caused them to lose all their money. When you don't pay employees, they don't do their job. Soon nobody cares. Students smoking in the classroom. Classrooms with students but no teachers. Now they are desperate to stay open, promising salaries they can't pay. I think that there teachers who took the school to court for their salaries and got nothing. I heard there is an investigation into if they can legally keep the license to hire foreigners.

China, Yunnan, Kunming .... don't let this scam school keep hurting your reputation. Everyone is losing the teachers, the parents, GAC program (their reputation is on the line), and the students!
