It is true that the great majority of 'positive' postings are not genuine, either because the posters are owners of the school or the writer for some reason is doing damage control for the school.

The questions remains: why are there so few genuine positive school reviews?

It is easy to say this is because ALL schools in China are terrible to work for, but that is not actually true.

Teachers that have had good experiences at schools seldom actually post their satisfaction. Fear of exposure? No incentive?

I don't know the answer. I have had several 'good' employment experiences and I have not posted them. For me, it is because I fear that the school will be besieged by incompetent FTs and a few competent ones and will be unable to distinguish between them.

If I knew that someone like Foxy was looking for a position, I would gladly recommend the university. I am however afraid that it is more likely that someone like pigD would apply.
