Clear and effective communication relies on good grammar. The intent of grammar, punctuation, and spelling is to facilitate effective and precise communication. Without great communication it is impractical to get anything done. Society would be unable to transact any commercial busines. Business would halt. At the source of effective communication is grammar and proper language usage. We all should comply to the same set of standards and rules in order to maintain order.

If the standards regarding how we converse and write are ignored difficulties can be created. People will misunderstand their instructions. Things will go horribly wrong if the standards of language are not kept. Our very way of life, our modern civilization itself, is a function of proper grammar. Find the time to study and polish your communication skills.

The meaning and intention of your communications can actually be changed when the rules of grammar are violated. People will think less of you when you use poor grammar, incorrect punctuation, and misspellings.
