They always provide roundtrip airfare. I don't know why the others replied exclusively on you being African American, but be a little more concerned about being a woman. it's still a very patriarchal society, as is all of Asia. But hey, represent and show them how we do it in civilization! :) Everywhere I go I try to be the best Ambassador I can be. Polite, strong, never weak, helpful... but then i down a few beers and sometimes have a real loud mouth and start speaking my opinions to other wayguken (foreigners) -- gotta work on that one.
