Sebastian is wrong in his assessment. Repairing sanitary facilities has nothing to do with performance or underperformance in the classroom; it has somthing to do with living conditions for teachers who are supposed to perform well in class. The problem of lacking water for these sanitary facilities did not only concern my personal apartment but other teacher apartments as well. The apartment owner (school) did not make a single move to help solve these problems. How much respect do they have for their teachers if they ignore such a thing, do you think?

Those stricken apartments must stink to high heaven! (The OP had mentioned problems with his WC.) What you say about punishment for underperforming FTs may or may not be true. However, the English translation of the German of the initial post of this thread seems to imply it.
