The BC outlet seems unable to deal with exams that are to indicate test takers' proficiency in the language. The recent drive of the local educational institutions for those tests rather than the TOEFL ones has yielded little success for both the students and the BC. The exam's devided ridiculously into parts of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The Speaking exam is scripted with many Chinese test takers reciting their lines that they've learnt. The exams can apparently be taken every month which is ridiculous for a test taker's ability to improve his/her band requires an effort way beyond the 30 day time. Anyhow, it's hard to imagine that with so many professionals around the world, there's little hope for a better treatment then IELTS or TOEFL which are the platform for foreign students in nations where English is used.
