Glad you left Bob. I know they promised you such for a while, but they promise everyone something, heck we never got our reference letter, we demanded to leave the school there. I know others may say differently, but we went to the office and demanded to end the contract, written formality, thumb prints and all, yeah we weren't taking chances. I will laugh if I ever get a job interview and they ask for any reference from a school in China, besides the regular reference/release (the very good, good, not good), which Shane sold to the new school .... yes people there is a market in that. Why give it away like your supposed to when you can sell it!

As for handover notes they are nice when they are given, I think I was reading ones from Orion in Hekou, it gave an insight into the kids, perhaps the papers are somewhere in the cabinets. I swear they act inefficient when your near the end, like misspelling your name on the letters, forgetting the stamps, forgetting to sign this or that. If you stay in DY, hope your relationship goes unaffected.

If the replacement is good, or motivated he will likely seek out the notes. I wish I had been able to write some for my kids, damn forgotten most of their names now though, been 2 years ... surely you were longer than 3 years if you recently quit?
