"Two of our sites currently have over 40 contracts and should break through the 50-contract barrier in the coming weeks (september-october being sign-up time) but the site we are looking to staff now suffered two bad terms under the supervision of two different native speakers and as a result we only have currently 12 students here but things aren't too bad, the brand as a whole still enjoys a good reputation locally and we are confident things will pick up quickly with the right people on-board."

I can assure you that it wasn't just the last two terms that have been bad for you. You've been in business for almost 5 years and you still haven't managed to break 100 students? Say, what happened to your nursery in Nanshan that was paid a visit by the police? Your poor African teacher was deported. I bet he was told that it was perfectly okay to work on a tourist visa because everyone does it. No, not everyone does it... only tiny, fly-by-night "schools" owned and operated by people, like you, trying to make as much money as possible without spending a dime. Now, you're trying to pawn your "schools" off on other people because you're just not cut out for the job. Your former computer guy also told us about how you guys had to use credit to pay salaries more often than not. Listen, it's time for you to just hang it up. You're obviously not great at what you do and one would be better off wiping his or her bum with a few thousand RMB and flushing it down the toilet than taking on that tragic, hot-mess, of a language center. I'm just trying to keep people from making the same mistake we did.

Don't forget to let everyone know that you didn't pay me because I couldn't be blackmailed into staying for an additional 2 months, so you withheld my money... and Andy gave his notice, but you just decided not to pay him as a sort of "eff you" to me.

And losing that 12k was the best possible thing I could have done for myself. I'm happy to report that we both scored jobs at real schools with things like books and resources. They also got us these magical things called Z-visas and residence permits. They also pay SIGNIFICANTLY more than you do with a fraction of the stress because they are legitimate companies. Funny how that worked out.
